This is the bustling town of Loodariak, located in the Great Rift Valley. The Maasai Training Center we built is within walking distance just off the right side of the picture.

1. This is the building we cooked and ate in when we were working in Loodariak. Someday it will be a Maasai Womens Training Center.
2. The Loodariak SDA Church.
3. The Loodariak school. It is a two room school with about 70 students and three teachers.
4. The local hotel. The teachers live here as well as our local building crew of eight.
5. The football (soccer) field.
6. The pastor, John Kiok, lives here. Our tents are the white dots in back of his house.

This is a Maasai family that we have become friends with. James (1) is the pastor of a Maasai Baptist church just up the valley from where we are working. 2 through 5 are his wives. Duane and Jessica are on the right.
